Break Through Tech Partners in Statewide AI Ready NJ Initiative

Break Through Tech is proud to partner with the New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC) and the NJ AI Hub on a groundbreaking initiative that puts our Sprinternship™ model at the center of statewide AI workforce development. 

Through AI Ready NJ, New Jersey’s 18 community colleges will pilot what is expected to be the nation’s first fully AI-focused version of our Sprinternship™ model: short, paid, immersive micro-internships where undergraduate student teams tackle business challenges posed by employer partners. This milestone reflects exactly what Break Through Tech was built to do: change the path to power and influence in a tech-enabled world by launching a new generation of tech talent — one that reflects the full breadth of human potential — into the tech ecosystem. 

The AI Ready NJ partnership sets a new standard for workforce development, bringing together educators, employers, and community partners to build real pathways for undergraduate students entering an AI-driven economy. By embedding work-based learning into the community college experience, AI Ready NJ is creating pathways for 255,000 New Jersey students to gain hands-on AI skills at a moment when the labor market demands them most.
