The Reboot Representation Tech Coalition awarded Break Through Tech $500,000 towards the expansion of our AI program. Our program is the largest of its kind in the U.S., 67% of the women and nonbinary computing students enrolled are Black, Latina, and Native American, and the placement rate* is 80%.

On track to graduating from Molloy University in 2024, Maria is currently working at the New York Public Library as a Cloud Application Development intern. The job, which involves using the Google Cloud Platform to create AI applications to support patrons of the NYPL, is a direct result of her involvement with Break Through Tech.
